Gas Lift
The gas lift straddle (GLS) is a means of retrofitting a gas lift device, in wells that are not fitted with gas lift systems.
In addition, the GLS can be used to replace existing gas lift systems that failed, or to enhance the operating injection pressure and deepen injection points.
The system consist of standard ISO V1 or V0 tested straddles with either a standard side-pocket mandrel or with specially designed gas lift valves. These special valves are fixed in between the straddle packers with zero ID obstructions; hence, obtaining fullbore throughout the straddle.
The GLS features:
- Slim design (small OD/large ID)
- Use of patented designs for specific solutions (HPHT, HEX, ME)
- Can be run on slickline and e-line
- Reliable retracting mechanism
- Can be run as a single run or multiple run straddle
